4-H Camps

Ages are determined by child's age as of September 30, 2023. For example, if a child is 4 at the time of the event, but turning 5 in August, then that child is considered to be 5 in "4-H years" and can attend the program.

Yes! The camp facility has security cameras located in various areas that are always being monitored. No one can enter the facility without checking in at the main building first. During the Dinwiddie 4-H Junior Camp week, we are privileged to also have a few members of the Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s department attend camp as volunteers. These members have experience working with youth as they are generally Student Resource Officers, but they have also been attending camp for many years. We are very lucky to have them!
